FUNCTION / USES

Epinephrine injection is employed for the immediate treatment of acute allergic reactions to drugs, food, insect stings or bites, and other substances. It stimulates the release of a hormone that eases respiration by relaxing the muscles around the airways while further tightening blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
